So with the PS3 and Wii now officially out along with the X-box 360, I figure why pay premium price for next gen stuff when there's a lot of past/last gen gaming goodness to be had? This was perhaps by far my most lavish year, especially given the fact that I had a new job w/ a pretty good disposable income. Also part of the reason why this list is fairly huge is because the majority of the games that I loved were on sale, not to mention a good portion of the PC titles are expansion sets, which of course are pretty cheap. The only time where I'm more than willing to pay full price for a game is if its A) something I really, really, really want and/or if its a B) Collector's Edition. Otherwise, I just wait until the price hits the $20 sweet spot, and then its *yoink*. Obviously there's a lot of PS2/PC love going on around here. ^_^
As for gaming plans for New Year's.....
I suppose there's a slight possibility that I might drop a few hundred bones on an X-box 360 provided that there's a price drop within next year. Viva Pinata, DOA 4, Dead Rising, Kameo GRAW, GeOW, and Lost Planet are games which I'm primarily interested in. I doubt a PS3 or Wii purchase will be feasible unless either one gets a price drop down to $400 and $150, respectively. And I'm still clinging on to that last thread of hope that a PSP redesign w/ HDD is in the works. Other than that, my neverending quest for hard-to-find classic gems on last/past gen systems lives on. Oh, and there's also the upcoming PS2 releases for next year. Rogue Galaxy I'm looking at you. XD

You have such an awesome style - keep up the good work!
